About the position

The Administrator for Tradition Home Care is responsible for managing the operations of the Home Health Agency, ensuring compliance with regulations set by the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) and other relevant bodies. The role focuses on delivering high-quality client services and maintaining strong caregiver relations to optimize revenue and minimize expenses. The Administrator oversees daily operations, supervises staff, and handles various administrative and financial responsibilities while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Home Health Agency to ensure compliance with AHCA and other regulations.
  • Supervise the Assistant Administrator, Billing Coordinator, and Weekend Coordinator.
  • Handle billing, accounts receivable, and related financial matters.
  • Maintain and update AHCA rules, policy & procedure manual, and emergency plans.
  • Assist in customer service aspects including client interviews, assessments, and care plans.
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurance companies and other relevant organizations.
  • Handle on-call duties after office hours as needed.
  • Assist in community relations and marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Three years of prior experience in administrative and management roles within home health care services.
  • Knowledge of AHCA rules and regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and administrative abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Valid Driver License and reliable transportation.
