Admissions Assistant

About the position

The Admissions Assistant at Cypress Ridge Care Center is responsible for providing excellent patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role involves working closely with residents and their families to establish care plans and ensure the highest level of self-care and well-being for each resident. The position requires a positive attitude and teamwork to deliver medically related social services and emotional support.

Responsibilities

• Establishes course of action by exploring options and setting goals with residents and their families.
• Assists residents in achieving the highest practicable level of self-care, independence, and well-being.
• Provides medically related social services to maintain the physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being of each resident.
• Evaluates social and family information, psychological and emotional needs to assess social services needs and develop care plans.
• Provides emotional support and addresses emotional problems, assisting residents and families with coping difficulties.

Requirements

• CNA certification required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent patient care skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in skilled nursing and familiarity with PCC.
