Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain professional relationships with hospitals, physicians, case managers, social workers, and community organizations.
  • Work with prospective residents, families, and healthcare providers to facilitate admissions into skilled nursing and long-term care.
  • Represent Cottonwood Healthcare at community events, health fairs, and professional networking opportunities.
  • Provide accurate information about facility services and perform pre-admission assessments as needed.
  • Address and resolve concerns from referral sources or families during the admission process.
  • Maintain records of referral activity, analyze trends, and prepare reports on admissions and outreach efforts.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in healthcare marketing, case management, or admissions (skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred).
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, marketing, nursing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
  • Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and private insurance admission criteria.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for travel to referral sources, facilities, and events.
