Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - NPI Process Development

About the position

The Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - NPI Process Development is responsible for tooling and fixturing designs and process development used in the manufacture of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) products. This role will work with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and manufacture complex state-of-the-art MRI system tooling and fixturing components throughout all phases of the manufacturing process as well as develop or enhance existing processes. Activities include detailed mechanical and structural design of sub-system and component manufacturing aids related primarily to MRI superconducting magnets, including analysis, simulation, documentation, prototyping, testing, verification, qualification, demonstration of use and integration as well as process development and validation.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop tooling and fixturing for MRI products.
• Work with cross-functional teams throughout the manufacturing process.
• Conduct detailed mechanical and structural design of manufacturing aids.
• Perform analysis, simulation, and documentation of designs.
• Prototype, test, and verify tooling and fixturing components.
• Develop and enhance existing manufacturing processes.

Requirements
