About the position

As an Advanced Product Owner for Motor Control Centers at Schneider Electric, you will play a pivotal role in executing a defined roadmap and ensuring the profitable growth of our Motor Control Centers. This position is based in Nashville, TN, with potential opportunities in Raleigh, NC, Seneca, SC, or Monterrey, MX. You will be the marketing and business face of an Agile team, responsible for leading the execution of existing products and offers while displaying strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills. Your role will involve regularly gathering customer feedback to align product strategy with customer pain points, conducting thorough competitive analyses to assess the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of our offerings, and identifying opportunities for growth, simplification, and sustainability. In collaboration with the Scrum Master, you will lead your squad/team to ensure timely execution of the roadmap. This includes creating and prioritizing user stories, managing the squad budget, and working with Chapter Leaders to ensure appropriate staffing. You will monitor and analyze business metrics to direct necessary changes that sustain business health and collaborate with Operations teams to ensure successful product launches and drive profitable growth. Additionally, you will work closely with the Operations team on the execution of the Go-to-Market strategy and act as a subject matter expert for offer requirements and customer applications. Your responsibilities will also include directing and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a matrix organization, including R&D, Operations, Industrialization, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Marketing Communication, to establish new offer objectives and priorities. You will negotiate conflicts and priorities with Chapter Leaders and other Scrum Masters, update critical business assets such as digests, catalogs, and the Schneider Electric website, and present to and interact with leaders within Schneider Electric and various customers.

Responsibilities

  • Be the marketing and business face of the Agile team.
  • Display strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills while taking ownership of the execution of existing products/offers.
  • Regularly gather the customer's voice to ensure alignment of customer pain points, product strategy, and roadmap.
  • Conduct a thorough competitive analysis to determine the offer's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats.
  • Identify opportunities and drive execution for growth, simplification, and sustainability.
  • Work with the Scrum Master to lead the squad/team in driving the timely execution of the roadmap.
  • Create and prioritize user stories, manage squad budget, and work with Chapter Leaders to ensure appropriate squad staffing.
  • Monitor & analyze business metrics to direct required change that sustains business health.

Requirements

  • 4 Year College degree with a focus in Marketing, Engineering, Finance, or similar program.
  • Experience 3+ years, with exposure to Product Management or Masters in Engineering or Business.
  • Working knowledge of Motor Control Centers.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodology.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric and competitor Motor Management product offering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A passion for learning and continuous improvement.
  • Agile mindset to pivot and react to a dynamically changing environment.
