About the position

Webasto is looking for an ASQE to support our rapidly growing charging division. The role involves coordination with R&D for design and ESI, controlling the APQP process for supplier parts from product design until transfer to the Webasto plant, and evaluating feasibility studies of suppliers. The ASQE will document and track APQP status and progress, prepare, validate, and approve PPAP/PPF, perform and release production processes, and verify production capacity (R@R). Additionally, the ASQE will conduct root cause analysis in case of technical deviations, define and follow up on necessary corrective actions, and escalate issues to the Senior ASQE. The position also requires securing compliance with the Webasto PEP process and the use of SIPOCs, as well as preparing and updating the APQP status for the Lead ASQE and escalating deviations to the project plan. The ASQE will be responsible for vendor parts until Gateway 5.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination with R&D for design & ESI
  • Controlling of the APQP-Process for supplier parts from product design until transfer to Webasto plant
  • Evaluation of Feasibility Studies of Suppliers
  • Documentation and tracking of APQP status and progress
  • Preparation, Validation and Approval of PPAP/PPF
  • Perform and release of Production Processes
  • Verification of Production Capacity (R@R)
  • Root cause analysis in case of technical deviations as well as definition and follow-up of necessary corrective actions; Escalation to Sr. ASQE

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering or professional training + additional subject-specific training (technician) + additional qualification (training in Quality Management)
  • Background knowledge about electronic components such as PCBAs, ASICs & Relays
  • First professional experience
  • Good knowledge of Production Techniques and Processes
  • Good knowledge of Automotive-Q-methods (APQP, FMEA, MSA, PPAP, SPC, etc.)
  • Ability to understand technological correlations
  • Good knowledge of Norms and Customer Requirements, Component and Tolerance Requirements
  • Ability to work in a team
  • High self-reliance
  • Assertiveness
  • Good command of English
  • MS-Office and ERP - Quality Management
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers of various sizes at national and international level
  • Ability to communicate with self-confidence on all levels (Business Partner - Management)
