About The Position

The Advanced Unlicensed Assistant (AUA) plays a crucial role in supporting licensed nurses within acute care settings. Requirements

• Completion of an Advanced Unlicensed Assistant Program as required by the Certification Board of Oklahoma.
• Successful completion of a 200-hour training program approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing or equivalent training.
• Certification by the Board after passing a written and skills examination.

Responsibilities

• Assist licensed nurses in providing patient care in an ICU setting.
• Perform selected advanced skills as permitted by the certification guidelines.
• Adhere to legal and ethical standards in healthcare practices.
• Support the nursing team in daily operations and patient management.
