About The Position

The Aerospace Trainee/Apprentice position is designed for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in nondestructive testing (NDT) within the aerospace industry. The apprentice will assist certified technicians in performing inspections to identify corrosion, defects, or other detrimental conditions, while also pursuing NDT certifications. This role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to company values, providing a comprehensive introduction to the field of aerospace NDT.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• An understanding of basic math.
• Ability to work in Microsoft Word.
• Ability to work with computers/computerized equipment.
• Ability to read, understand, and communicate effectively.
• Ability to handle chemicals in a safe manner.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Technician or Sr. Technician on NDT inspections.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by adhering to safety standards and practices.
• Perform all duties as assigned and adhere to TEAM's Core Values.
• Study to gain NDT certifications while assisting and learning hands-on experience in various NDT methods.
• Perform any duties assigned by the Technician or Sr. Technician on the worksite.
