About the position

The Affordable Housing Assistant Community Director plays a crucial role in supporting the Community Director in managing the daily operations of the Archways Santa Ana property. This position is responsible for ensuring that the property meets operational and financial goals while supervising on-site staff and maintaining positive relationships with residents and clients.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Director with day-to-day property operations.
• Supervise on-site staff including leasing and maintenance teams.
• Maintain positive communication with residents, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Laws and FPI policies.
• Manage occupancy levels and implement marketing strategies.
• Assist in revenue management and timely rent collections.
• Maintain resident files and ensure confidentiality.
• Document and report maintenance needs and follow up on requests.
• Conduct training and onboarding for new leasing team members.
• Promote a professional image and adhere to dress code policies.

Requirements

• Experience in affordable housing programs such as LIHTC and HUD programs.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in Residential Property Management.
• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and property management software.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Google Mail and Google Drive.
• Familiarity with RealPage software.
• Basic computer skills in internet use and management.
