About the position

The Affordable Housing Assistant Community Director plays a crucial role in supporting the Community Director with the daily operations of the Triangle Square property. This position is responsible for managing on-site staff, ensuring client satisfaction, maintaining occupancy levels, and maximizing revenue potential while adhering to company policies and procedures. The Assistant Community Director also engages in resident relations, employee management, and compliance with housing regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Director with day-to-day property operations.
• Supervise on-site staff including leasing and maintenance teams.
• Maintain positive communication with residents, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure occupancy levels meet owner expectations.
• Implement marketing strategies to attract new residents.
• Assist with revenue management and timely rent collections.
• Maintain resident files and ensure confidentiality.
• Monitor facility maintenance requests and ensure timely completion.
• Enforce community rules and regulations consistently.

Requirements

• Experience in affordable housing programs such as LIHTC and HUD programs.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a supervisory role in Residential Property Management.
• High School diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
• Proficient in English (speaking, reading, writing).
• Strong computer skills including MS Office and property management software.
