About The Position

The Afterschool Program Assistant will support the After School Director in implementing recreational and educational activities for students. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy working with children and can assist in various tasks related to afterschool programming.

Requirements

• High school graduate.
• Experience working with children preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the After School Director with programs including indoor and outdoor recreational activities.
• Planning arts and crafts activities.
• Preparing and serving afternoon snacks.
• Supervising students during activities.
• Assisting students with homework.
• Chaperoning field trips.
• Performing other duties as assigned by the principal.
