About the position

Client is seeking an experienced Agile Coach with robust technical exposure/support, servant leadership, and problem-solving skills for an excellent opportunity within our Agile Center of Enablement (CoE). As an Agile Coach, you will provide hands-on guidance, support, and coaching to Agile teams and individuals in all roles and functions to drive a smooth transition into an Agile/Product mindset across the enterprise. Your role will involve working closely with the enterprise within the context of specific coaching engagements to support Agile/Product goals and KPIs for identified products, portfolios, and programs. You will be a trusted advisor, highly skilled at coaching, consulting, mentoring, influencing, and challenging teams, leaders, and associates at all levels of the organization on behavioral changes that will deliver continuous improvement and increased value. As a change agent with a passion for coaching, you will support teams in transforming their behaviors toward an Agile way of working. You will assess agile health and maturity and use this information to inform your coaching, mentoring, and development approach. Facilitating learning and development through individual and team coaching will be a key part of your responsibilities, as well as leading workshops and training sessions to educate individuals on Agile Values, Principles, and Practices. You will promote an agile mindset to management and people outside the teams and champion the changes and belief resets required to achieve the desired business results. Additionally, you will support development teams in adopting DevSecOps leading practices and mindset and lean architecture, while also tracking and resolving impediments that exist outside of the team environment. Championing the use of metrics and other objective measures across teams will be essential, as will working with the CoP/teams to ensure the appropriate tools are being leveraged and enterprise practices are being followed to enable consistency and metrics where needed.

Responsibilities

  • Provide hands-on guidance, support, and coaching to Agile teams and individuals.
  • Work with the enterprise to support Agile/Product goals and KPIs for identified products/portfolios/programs.
  • Act as a trusted advisor, coaching, consulting, mentoring, and influencing teams and leaders.
  • Assess agile health and maturity to inform coaching and development approaches.
  • Facilitate learning and development through individual and team coaching.
  • Lead workshops and training sessions on Agile Values, Principles, and Practices.
  • Promote an agile mindset to management and external stakeholders.
  • Support development teams in adopting DevSecOps practices and lean architecture.
  • Track and resolve impediments outside of the team environment.
  • Champion the use of metrics and objective measures across teams.

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience as an Agile Coach working with teams (7-10 team members).
  • Experience in Scrum, Kanban, and Scaled Agile Frameworks (SAFe).
  • Robust understanding of the business value of specific Agile Practices.
  • Thorough understanding of Product Management and application of a product mindset.
  • Robust facilitation and diplomatic skills with the ability to read an organization.
  • Experience with JIRA software and Jira Align.
