About the position

The Agile Coach at SavvyMoney will play a crucial role in transforming enterprise software teams by applying advanced Agile methodologies. This position is designed for independent contractors working remotely in the EU, focusing on enhancing team effectiveness and promoting Agile best practices across the organization. The Agile Coach will facilitate various Agile ceremonies, coach teams, and collaborate closely with product managers to align on the company's vision.

Responsibilities

  • Applies advanced Agile subject matter knowledge on transforming enterprise software teams.
  • Supports assessments and retrospectives to continuously improve multiple Agile teams and teams of teams.
  • Organizes and facilitates team backlog management, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, demos, and other agile-related rituals.
  • Measures and analyzes team effectiveness and optimizes productivity.
  • Promotes Agile knowledge and best practices across the organization to maximize the agile teams' performance and effectiveness.
  • Coaches individuals and teams across the organization in iteration methods, fostering collaboration and customer focus.
  • Runs scrum-of-scrums ceremony and manages the release train across agile teams.
  • Builds consensus through collaboration and influences organizations on the implementation of the Agile methodology.
  • Partners closely with product managers and team leads to ideate, plan, and execute on company vision.
  • Champions the agile, customer-centric, cross-function culture throughout the organization and our customers.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable proficiency in Agile methods, including Scrum and Kanban.
  • Experience working in an environment where Agile was applied at scale using Spotify, Scrum @ Scale, SAFe, Disciplined Agile Delivery or similar methods.
  • Experienced facilitator able to apply various techniques to ensure effective meetings both co-located and distributed.
  • Strong leadership skills and a history of leading through influence.
  • 5+ years Scrum Master experience, preferably in enterprise IT as part of an Agile or DevOps transformation.
  • Extensive experience as an Agile Coach/ScrumMaster.
  • Expert at Jira and the Atlassian product suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Fintech is a plus.
  • Additional certifications from SAFe, Scrum@Scale, the Scrum Alliance or the Program Management Institute are a plus.
  • Experience in leading the transition of an organization from Waterfall to Agile is desired.
