As an Agile Coach at Nightwing, you will play a pivotal role in guiding and transforming Agile teams within a large mission-critical development and sustainment program. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a servant leader, driving relentless improvements and challenging Agile teams to reach their full potential. You will be expected to exhibit the behaviors of a Lean-Agile Leader, embracing Lean-Agile values and principles while implementing effective Lean-Agile practices. Your efforts will focus on fostering high-performing teams and Agile Release Trains (ARTs) through transparency, empowerment, and continuous learning, ultimately promoting business value delivery. In this role, you will manage and optimize the flow of value through the ART, collaborating with Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to facilitate ART-level events, including Inspect and Adapt (I&A) and System of Systems (SoS) meetings. You will also be responsible for delivering SAFe course enablement trainings, inspiring participants to pursue further education and certifications. Your ability to produce and present ART-level metrics will be crucial in helping teams improve and take responsibility for their actions. You will teach problem-solving techniques and support Scrum Masters and Team Coaches in encouraging learning among their Agile teams. Additionally, you will facilitate Program Increment (PI) Planning readiness, working closely with RTEs to organize and conduct PI Planning events in conjunction with Product Management, Architects, Epic Owners, and Business Owners. Your expertise will help Product Management build foundational knowledge, manage and prioritize the ART Feature Backlog, generate a vision, and create roadmaps. You will also define and document the ART's development value stream, coaching ART members on understanding their value stream and relentlessly improving the flow of value.
