About the position

The Agile Coach/Scrum Master role at Randstad US involves guiding and coaching scrum teams to enhance productivity and adherence to Agile principles. The position emphasizes continuous improvement, collaboration with stakeholders, and fostering a strong Agile community within the organization. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating Scrum events and addressing systemic impediments to ensure teams achieve their goals effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Coach and guide 1-2 scrum teams to meet product deliverables within the agile framework.
  • Contribute to the broader Pega Technology global scrum master community.
  • Ensure Scrum adoption and that teams embody Agile and Scrum values, acting as a role model for servant leadership.
  • Facilitate Scrum events and proactively address systemic impediments.
  • Coach individuals and teams to deliver to their highest potential and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to drive success behaviors and team metrics.
  • Partner with Product Owners for backlog refinement and prioritization.
  • Identify skills and competencies needed for high-performing teams.
  • Collaborate with engineering managers and stakeholders to clarify goals.
  • Help teams achieve their goals and shield them from distractions.
  • Foster creativity, drive innovation, and improve efficiency of development teams.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a large, complex organization and influence various stakeholders.
  • Self-starter who initiates work independently.
  • Strong team player who can transition between individual contributions and team collaboration.
  • Strong communication skills to convey quantitative topics to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to present findings and data to influence senior leaders.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Solid understanding of AML and Global Financial Crime modeling techniques.
  • Experience with core GRA Model Development Tools (BitBucket, Horizon, PyCharm, JIRA, GRADOC).
  • Broad experience in the design, implementation, and validation of risk models.
  • Good understanding of the current US regulatory environment, including AML.
