The Agile Coach position is a senior-level role that requires extensive experience in Agile methodologies and coaching. The ideal candidate will have over 10-12 years of total professional experience, with a specific focus on Agile coaching for at least 4-6 years. This role is not for a Scrum Coach; rather, it is aimed at a Senior Agile Coach who can operate at a Program or Portfolio level within a scaled Agile environment. The candidate will be expected to provide hands-on coaching and Agile consulting, guiding teams and organizations in their Agile transformation journey. In this position, the Agile Coach will work closely with various teams to implement Agile practices effectively, ensuring that the principles of Agile are understood and adopted across the organization. The role requires a strong background in Agile consulting, with the ability to adapt strategies to fit varied domains and organizational needs. A technical background is highly desired, particularly in software development or quality assurance, as this will enable the coach to understand the technical challenges teams face and provide relevant guidance. The Agile Coach will also need to be proficient in using tools such as JIRA and Confluence, as these are essential for managing Agile projects and facilitating collaboration among team members. The position is hybrid, requiring 2-3 days onsite in McLean, VA, and is expected to last for 9-12 months as a contract role. Candidates should be prepared to engage with multiple teams and stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and Agile excellence.
