About the position

The Senior Agile Coach at CapTech Ventures, Inc. plays a crucial role in guiding clients through their transition to Agile methodologies. This position requires a strategic partner who can establish collaborative relationships with stakeholders, provide coaching and training, and influence organizational change to enhance Agile adoption and delivery success.

Responsibilities

  • Quickly establish collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders and team members to help them in their journey of adopting Agile methodology
  • Become a strategic partner to drive ROI and greater adoption and higher transformation success
  • Provide coaching and training at the program and team levels in an emerging Agile environment
  • Assess the current organization and delivery environment and recommend optimal Agile practices tailored to the client
  • Perform in various agile roles, including Scrum Master, where needed
  • Plan, coordinate and facilitate agile events at the team and program level
  • Influence at all levels of an organization and help implement recommended changes
  • Prepare and deliver effective communications both verbally and orally regarding progress and status for both internal and client teams
  • Perform hands-on project work, including analysis, design and change management, as needed by the project

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, MIS or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CSM, CSPO and higher certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience and certifications in one or more scaling frameworks - SAFe Program Consultant certification preferred
  • Experience with Value Stream Identification and Mapping preferred
  • Experience with lean product development leading practices, previous experience as a Product Owner preferred
  • Working knowledge of Jira and/or Confluence or other Agile delivery tools
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT full development life cycle
  • 5+ year experience with Scrum / Kanban methodologies
  • Ability to establish immediate credibility with clients, build consensus, and achieve goals through influence
  • Ability to help teams write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
  • Attitude and ability to work through ambiguity and find creative solutions around roadblocks
  • Track record of proactively building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, key stakeholders, and team members
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience in consulting or working with diverse clients/industries is highly desirable
  • Flexibility to work with teams, individuals and executives and willingness to help with a wide variety of work products and people
  • Excellent interpersonal/communication skills
  • Willingness for occasional travel
