Genesis10 is currently seeking an Agile Coach to work with our client in the financial industry, located in Charlotte, NC, and Plano, TX. This position is a contract role expected to last for 12 months or more. The Agile Coach will play a crucial role in facilitating and guiding multiple agile teams and key stakeholders across major projects from inception to the delivery of the solution. This involves collaboration with teams from various internal trains as well as external organizations and vendors. The Agile Coach will be responsible for identifying risks and dependencies, quantifying their impact on business and technology, and determining the necessary controls to resolve these issues. In addition to risk management, the Agile Coach will provide visibility into delivery plans and track progress while promoting agile principles and mindset through effective coaching. This includes building necessary Jira and Confluence dashboards to ensure full transparency and a clear view of the project's current status, along with outlining the plan and relevant milestones. Regular meetings with all stakeholders will be facilitated to keep everyone informed about the status and progress of the projects, requiring a solid understanding of the subject matter and application details. The role demands strong project management skills, product owner experience, and a deep knowledge of Jira JQL and Confluence. The Agile Coach must possess excellent communication skills to quickly address issues and problems, along with outstanding planning, organization, and time management abilities. The ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple priorities with a sense of urgency is essential, as is a solid understanding of software development and architecture. The Agile Coach should also demonstrate exceptional facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills, with experience in facilitating meetings at various organizational levels and a strong grasp of facilitation techniques. Influencing, removing obstacles, and motivating team members without direct line management authority are key aspects of this role.
