About the position

The Agile Project Manager III/IV is responsible for managing large-scale and complex projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role involves designing operational plans, monitoring project progress, and acting as a liaison between various stakeholders to secure necessary resources. The position requires a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly in managing projects related to commercial software rather than IT applications.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of large scale and complex projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Design, communicate, and implement operational plans for project completion.
  • Monitor progress and performance against project plans.
  • Identify, resolve, or escalate issues to minimize delays.
  • Facilitate analysis of project requirements and ensure goals are met within time, cost, and quality parameters.
  • Act as a liaison with other areas in the organization to secure specialized resources.
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders.
  • Work with stakeholders to establish priorities and allocate tasks to project staff.
  • Manage project plans that may require complex customizations or new solutions.
  • Monitor time, scope, and cost for projects based on identified requirements.
  • Conduct conflict management and negotiate resolutions with stakeholders.
  • Gather project sizing information and ensure accurate project estimates and billing.
  • Complete and review monthly reports for all projects and provide feedback on budgets.
  • Mentor less experienced project managers in financial responsibilities and project management.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to manage budgeting and contractual responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent training and/or work experience in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 6+ years of relevant project management experience delivering commercial, cloud-based applications.
  • Experience as a Scrum Master with Agile project management knowledge.
