About the position
The Agile Project Manager / Scrum Master will play a crucial role in supporting two Agile teams, one utilizing Scrum and the other Kanban. This hybrid position involves coordinating small-scale agile projects, overseeing agile ceremonies, and providing necessary support to the teams using a servant leadership approach. The role emphasizes collaboration with squad leads to set deadlines, assign responsibilities, and monitor project progress through various reporting methods.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and complete small-scale agile projects.
- Oversee all aspects and agile ceremonies of projects (Scrum and Kanban).
- Work with squad leads to set deadlines and assign responsibilities.
- Monitor and summarize project progress using weekly burnup charts.
- Provide support to the team and department using a servant leadership style.
- Manage software requests and software license management.
- Facilitate new team member onboarding and training tracking.
- Report on monthly engagement and effort distribution.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
- Experience practicing Scrum or Kanban methodology for Agile software development teams.
- Proficiency in JIRA.
