About the position

The Agile Team Manager at Walnut Way Conservation Corp. is responsible for leading and facilitating the Agile process within the organization. This role focuses on guiding multiple teams to adopt Agile methodologies, enhancing collaboration, productivity, and innovation. The manager will foster a culture of continuous improvement, support team autonomy, and help individuals grow professionally while implementing Agile best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Collaborate with product owners to ensure clarity and prioritization of the product backlog.
  • Coach and mentor teams on Agile best practices, values, and principles.
  • Monitor team progress and performance metrics to identify areas for refinement and growth.
  • Engage with stakeholders to foster transparent communication and alignment of goals.
  • Identify and remove impediments to ensure team success.
  • Encourage and support a culture of self-organization and accountability within teams.
  • Contribute to and evolve the organization's Agile framework.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with team members to gather feedback and promote continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Agile Team Manager or similar role in an Agile environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.) and principles.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
  • Effective communication skills, with the capacity to coach a diverse audience.
  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders and fostering transparency.
  • Ability to identify and resolve conflicts and impediments efficiently.
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on metrics to guide team performance.
  • Experience in fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Nice-to-haves

  • Certification in Agile methodologies (e.g., Certified Scrum Master, Agile Coach) is a plus.
