About the position

The Agile Transformation Manager will lead the Global IT's Agile transformation journey, guiding the organization through a multi-year process to adopt modern agile practices. This role requires a deep understanding of agile methodologies and a proven track record in implementing agile transformations. The manager will train and support agile product and platform delivery teams while promoting an agile mindset across the enterprise. This position is highly visible and impactful, serving as a key change agent within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate and instill Agile principles and practices to all levels of the organization.
  • Define the strategy and plan for rolling out new Agile practices to enable teams and leaders in adopting Agile principles.
  • Drive cultural change by championing an Agile mindset across the organization.
  • Provide leadership for building Agile and Product Management skills for the enterprise.
  • Assess current processes and recommend improvements to adopt Agile best practices.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with agile transformation.
  • Coach Global IT Associates in effective Agile delivery, including conflict resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and ensure teams stay on track with Agile techniques.
  • Support the transformation of the PMO into a VMO (Value Management Office) and track an agile portfolio geared toward delivering business outcomes.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of agile transformation efforts.

Requirements

  • 8-12 overall years of experience.
  • 5+ years of experience as an Agile Coach with a minimum of 2 years continuous experience in a large corporate setting.
  • BS/BA in Computer Science or equivalent related field of study.
  • Formal certification as either Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Certified Agile Coach (ICP-ACC) or similar certifications.
  • Experience with scaled agile frameworks required.
  • A proven record of portfolio level Agile transformation execution experience is critical.
  • At least 2+ years foundational experience as an IT Delivery Lead, Release Train Engineer or Agile Product Manager preferred.
  • Experience in software development environments.
