About the position

We are seeking a highly experienced AI Business Analyst to analyze and write business requirement documents (BRD) to help the team build a centralized Enterprise AI Risk Management System. This system is designed to meet AI regulatory and internal governance requirements. The system will encompass various components, including AI inventory management and AI risk management throughout the lifecycle, which includes initiation, development, validation, deployment, monitoring, change management, and retirement. The system serves as the client's enterprise governance platform to ensure that our AI development and usage are ethical and compliant with regulations. As an AI Business Analyst, you will be responsible for understanding and following evolving AI regulatory requirements, such as the EU AI Act. You will collaborate with various subject matter experts (SMEs) at the client site to ensure that the client's AI uses are properly recorded and that the associated AI risks are adequately assessed and mitigated on a global scale. The system will be delivered in a phased approach, which includes architecture design, global AI inventory creation and maintenance, and the conversion of existing AI/model inventories. Additionally, you will oversee AI/model governance functions, such as model submission, validation and approval, and AI use case assessment and approval, which includes considerations for data privacy, security, and intellectual property. Your role will also involve tracking and reporting functions to ensure that the system meets all necessary requirements. You will conduct thorough gap analyses and propose optimal scalable solutions by effectively leveraging existing resources, including available platforms, systems, and SMEs, while minimizing redundant work. You will lead and drive the individual work streams associated with responsible AI development and usage globally, ensuring that regulatory and internal AI governance requirements are clearly communicated, aligned, and documented. Furthermore, you will work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery and integration of system functions, including GUI design and logic flow of governance requirements. Testing during and post-system development will be crucial to ensure that the system functions as intended, and you will document all tests, outcomes, and critical decisions made by stakeholders. In this role, you will manage the project proactively and play a pivotal role in ensuring timely delivery of the system.

  • Ensure System functions, including GUI design and logic flow of governance requirements, are accurately reflected in the BRD.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to ensure timely delivery and integration of system functions.
  • Test during and post system development to ensure the System functions are integrated well and work as intended.
  • Document all tests and outcomes, critical decisions made by stakeholders, and rationale.
  • Communicate any bugs or potential design/scalability issues identified during development and testing phases to relevant stakeholders.
  • Assist engineers and product managers to resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Manage the project proactively to ensure timely delivery.

Requirements

  • An advanced degree (bachelor or master) in an equivalent field such as business, management, or management of information systems.

  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in the field of Generative AI and AI regulatory changes and convert them to actionable insights for the client.
  • Outstanding communication skills to effectively present business goals, issues/challenges, gaps/findings, and solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Operate with velocity and an ownership mindset, delivering great end-to-end results both independently and in a team environment.
  • A passionate fast learner with the ability to research, learn, and apply advanced technical and non-technical skills related to AI/model.
