About the position

As an AI Data Analyst at Newell Brands, you will play a pivotal role in integrating artificial intelligence into our insights and innovation processes. This position requires close collaboration with our development team, as well as the Design, Consumer Insights, and IT teams, to create a robust portfolio of chatbots that enhance our ability to gather insights and drive innovation. You will leverage existing large language models (LLMs) to develop chatbot personas and systems that connect key knowledge centers within the business, ensuring that our AI tools are effective and user-friendly. Your responsibilities will include identifying areas for improvement in chatbot performance based on user feedback and performance metrics. You will be tasked with adjusting the tone, language, and behavior of the chatbots to align with user expectations, ensuring a seamless interaction experience. Continuous iteration and refinement of both Insights and Innovation chatbots will be essential to align them with real-world research outcomes and to drive efficiency and effectiveness in our processes. In addition to chatbot development, you will conduct thorough testing to verify improvements and establish best practices for prompt engineering, sharing these insights with chatbot users across the organization. Benchmarking LLMs will also be part of your role, as you evaluate their relative performance for future applications. You will assist with APIs and automations to connect chatbots to key business platforms, as well as help consolidate and organize data to create a searchable innovation knowledge center. Your contributions will also extend to the creation of design insights that facilitate the transition from insights to innovation, ensuring that our projects are well-supported and effectively executed.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Design, Consumer Insights, and IT teams to build a robust portfolio of chatbots for insights and innovation.

  • Establish best practices for prompt engineering and share with chatbot users.
  • Benchmark LLMs to evaluate relative performance for future use.
  • Assist with APIs and automations to connect chatbots to key business platforms.
  • Assist with data consolidation and organization to create a searchable innovation knowledge center.
  • Assist with the creation of the design Insights to Innovation platforms.
  • Perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Linguistics, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of Python
  • 1-2 years of experience
  • Proficiency with LLMs, AI programs and tools used for data analysis
