Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Manager of Development to plan, direct, or coordinate development activities and training.
- Design and develop training materials utilizing web-based training programs and Learning Management Systems to meet Air Operations training requirements.
- Work collaboratively with a diverse team (department managers and supervisors, customer representatives, subject matter experts, instructional staff, program developers) to research, design, develop and implement effective training solutions.
- Provide timely status updates and reports on assigned projects and organizational performance to supervisor.
- Take ownership of assigned projects and do what is necessary to ensure assigned projects are completed on schedule and to department standards.
- Develop and review proposed project efforts to determine scope, key milestones, and timeframe.
- Develop and formalize a quality assurance review process of all existing and new training programs.
- Responsible for the Company's Security and Safety Management System (SMS) and associated Safety Risk Management and Safety Assurance outputs.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Equivalent work experience.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in applying adult learning principles and concepts.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current instructional theories and principles applicable to both online and instructor-led learning programs.
- Experience developing creative and engaging training materials for an adult audience, in a variety of formats and media.
- Experience with multimedia and web design technologies.
- Advanced to intermediate computer experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Good organization skills and time management skills; ability to be flexible and solve problems.
- Ability to speak/read/write in English.
- If hired, must be able to demonstrate that you are authorized to work in the U.S.
Nice-to-haves
- Working knowledge of Adobe Captivate, Premier, and Pro and 5 years of relevant work experience (in similar field and/or industry)
- Skilled use of Articulate Storyline.
