About the position

State Street Alpha's Model Office team is looking for qualified individuals with strong experience in integration, project management and business analysis in order to manage complex relationships across software and services in the End to End Alpha platform. State Street Alpha combines our unique capabilities in data and analytics to better serve our clients and the model office serves as the environment where all the components of Alpha integrate. As a model office team member you will help build out and maintain multiple client-independent end to end platform environments, working with contributing Product Owners, test teams, and development teams to coordinate deployments and testing of components.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the creation of a consolidated feature and functions roadmap from multiple contributing product roadmaps, and understand the impact of each feature and the required testing activity
  • Work with multiple stakeholders to drive alignment on deliverables, dates, and integration components
  • Assist in creation of both BAU and strategic initiatives and plans to define Model Office roadmap to reach future state goals
  • Actively engage and execute assignments for large and complex business solutions initiatives across Model Office
  • Promote business requirements analysis best practices, tools and controls to improve processes and quality of service
  • Assist in development and maintain ongoing repository of business process workflow documentation
  • Drive the creation of business case documentation and requirements analysis for Model Office and potentially other ALPHA product teams
  • Develop data and functional requirements and assist in the creation of related estimates
  • Employ analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills to improve outcomes

Requirements

  • Minimum BS/BA degree required in Technology, Finance, Business, or equivalent
  • 7+ years of industry experience with front, middle, and back office functionality
  • Strong knowledge of existing State Street organizational constructs and teams require in addition to deep understanding of middle and back office systems, functions and services supported at State Street
  • Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Methodology and tools (i.e. JIRA, Rally, RTC)
  • Strong communication, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively with executive management
  • Ability to influence and work collaboratively across multiple organizations to reach common goals
  • Experience with Microsoft Office tools Word, Excel, Project, and Visio is required
