The Marin County Office of Education supports learning and social-emotional growth for all students in Marin County by expanding educational equity, ensuring the fiscal solvency of local school districts, inspiring educators to use evidence-based instructional practices, developing positive relationships with other organizations and individuals, and providing services and programs to supplement and enhance the work of schools in Marin. The long-term substitute will provide instruction in math (4 sections) and art (1 section) to 7th - 12th grade students at an Alternative Education School. Following the guidance from the regular teacher, the long-term substitute works alongside a classroom learning coach (paraeducator) to ensure students meet academic milestones. Class sizes typically vary between 6-18 students.
