About the position

The Amazon Locker+ Customer Service Associate plays a crucial role in providing exceptional service to customers at Locker+ retail locations. This position involves assisting customers with their orders, managing the delivery and return processes, and ensuring a clean and organized workspace. Associates are expected to connect personally with customers, enhancing their experience while navigating a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, pick, and stow customer orders, process returns, and prepare for delivery.
  • Assist customers with questions they may have.
  • Work through problem-solving scenarios for customers.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace.
  • Manage responsibilities for a Locker+ location, including opening and closing the site.
  • Use technology like smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
  • Receive truck deliveries.

Requirements

  • Candidates must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines in English.
  • Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 49 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to stand and walk during shifts lasting up to five hours, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in customer service or retail environments.
