About the position

The Supply Chain Co-Op position at Amazon Robotics is a 6-month opportunity designed for students pursuing a degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, or related fields. The role focuses on enhancing supply chain processes through automation and efficiency improvements, while providing hands-on experience in a dynamic environment that integrates robotics and software solutions. Co-Op participants will work closely with cross-functional teams to support various supply chain initiatives and contribute to the overall operational excellence of Amazon Robotics.

Responsibilities

  • Developing an understanding of Supply Chain and Systems and Tools processes and identifying targets for improvement in transactional and operational efficiencies.
  • Supporting the execution of supply chain cost/lead time, safety stock, procurement, planning, warehousing/logistics, and/or new product introduction programs.
  • Leading projects to automate cross-functional processes between Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, Deployment, and Engineering.
  • Developing processes and mechanisms related to expanding capacity and programs in the Robotics Operations Center of Excellence.
  • Creating efficient and accurate metrics and mechanisms for measuring and reporting supply chain performance, including the introduction of new software/tools/dashboards.
  • Actively supporting and fostering a culture of inclusion.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Currently enrolled in college/university with at least one semester/term/quarter left to complete after the end of the co-op.
  • Expected graduation date of May 2026 or later.
  • Eligibility and availability for a full-time (40h/week) co-op from July - December 2025.

Nice-to-haves

  • Expert in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with programming languages such as SQL and Python, and data visualization tools like Tableau.
  • 1-2 years of experience in supply chain or relevant fields.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Understanding of metrics, process capabilities, and LEAN techniques.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong work ethic, desire to learn, and be challenged.
