About the position

The Compensation/Expense Analyst/Associate will prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, including, but not limited to compensation projections, expense allocations & reimbursements, tracking headcount activity and hiring & attrition trend analysis. The role involves assisting in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term financial projections. The candidate will develop and maintain financial models for monthly reporting and various strategic initiatives, collaborating with the business groups to obtain any upcoming changes that may impact forecasting and reporting. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for certain key corporate accounting month end close processes focused around the booking, review and reporting of certain expenses, ensuring accurate accounting records are maintained and results are thoroughly analyzed and explained. The role also includes assisting in the evaluation of potential investments and preparing ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including compensation projections and expense allocations.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget, forecasts, and long-term financial projections.
  • Develop and maintain financial models for monthly reporting and various strategic initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business groups to obtain changes impacting forecasting and reporting.
  • Responsible for key corporate accounting month end close processes focused on expenses.
  • Ensure accurate accounting records are maintained and results are analyzed.
  • Assist in the evaluation of potential investments.
  • Prepare ad-hoc financial analyses and reports to support decision-making.

Requirements

  • 2 to 4 years of experience in corporate/strategic finance, preferably FP&A.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong financial modelling skills.
  • Advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Well organized with the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
