About the position

The Analyst, IT Client Services position at Cardinal Health involves providing on-site IT support for the Waukegan, IL Distribution Center. This role includes responding to user requests, resolving IT issues, and maintaining end-user productivity platforms. The position requires after-hours and weekend support as needed, along with periodic travel to support business initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site IT support for the Waukegan, IL Distribution Center.
  • Respond to escalated issues from the IT Service Center.
  • Install, remove, and configure hardware, software, and applications.
  • Replace and rebuild hardware components as needed.
  • Confer with end users, technology teams, and vendors to resolve incidents and fulfill requests.
  • Provide support via in-person, phone, or remote methods.
  • Work independently or as part of a team to deliver exceptional customer service.
  • Prioritize effectively and escalate issues as needed.
  • Respond to customer needs and services as assigned.
  • Lift, carry, push, or pull a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of experience in IT support or related field.
  • Two-year degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience preferred.
  • Experience supporting multi-platform environments including Windows 7, 10, 11, and Microsoft products.
  • Basic understanding of network topologies: Ethernet, Wireless, Segmentation, and TCP/IP protocols.
  • Moderate knowledge of PC hardware, operating systems, network configuration, server interaction, diagnostics, and troubleshooting.
  • Basic knowledge of configuration and troubleshooting of warehouse technologies such as laser printers, Zebra printers, and handheld terminals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and follow-up skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Android and iOS devices.
  • Familiarity with asset management for software and hardware.
