About the position

The Analyst position in the Wholesale Credit Delivery - Specialized Cash Flow group at Truist Bank focuses on supporting and facilitating new revenue growth through the origination and execution of complex debt transactions. This role involves underwriting, structuring, and managing a portfolio of leveraged debt transactions for clients and private equity firms, ensuring compliance with risk management strategies and regulatory guidelines. Analysts will work closely with senior team members to develop financial models, conduct due diligence, and maintain ongoing client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support senior teammates in developing complex financial models and providing analytical support.
• Conduct due diligence, obtain credit approval, and facilitate legal review for transactions.
• Analyze financial statements and projections, and participate in credit underwriting and structuring.
• Create and utilize analytical financial models, including discounted cash flow analysis and valuation analysis.
• Perform research and analysis on companies, industries, and transactions to support client activities and risk mitigation strategies.
• Manage portfolio responsibilities including financial statement spreads and covenant compliance analysis.
• Prepare high-quality annual client reviews, renewals, and amendments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Solid leadership and interpersonal skills.
• High level of adaptability and flexibility with strong organizational and time management skills.

Nice-to-haves

• 1 to 3 years of demonstrated work experience in finance or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0.
