Responsibilities

• Craft and maintain scalable, efficient data models to power business applications and analytics, adapting to growing data demands.
• Continually refine data models and architecture for enhanced performance and quality, aligning with changing business needs.
• Proactively address data challenges to boost business outcomes, using data-driven insights.
• Enhance our data platform with best practices for improved performance, consistency, and accuracy.
• Champion the latest data technologies and methodologies, staying ahead of industry trends to elevate team productivity and platform functionality.
• Work closely with various teams, leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and foster a culture of data-driven excellence.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in a related role as an Analytics Engineer.
• At least 3 years of experience in crafting complex, highly optimized, and readable SQL queries, demonstrating excellence in database management and data manipulation.
• Solid background in the payments sector, with comprehensive knowledge in payment processing, fraud detection, risk management, and financial data analytics.
• Skilled in data modeling, with a strong understanding of data warehousing principles and best practices.
• Solid experience with DBT, and analytics engineering best practices. Experience with our data stack, including Snowflake, DBT, GitHub, Secoda, and Looker, is highly desirable.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a closely related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
