About the position

The Analytics Engineering team is looking to hire an Intern who is willing to be part of a collaborative and dynamic work environment. The candidate must be highly motivated and demonstrate creativity in implementing analytic solutions using Power BI and/or Databricks.

Responsibilities

• Work with teammates and other business stakeholders to provide practical insights to help drive decisions across the enterprise.
• Create detailed reports in Power BI using many disparate sources.
• Identify patterns in data and leverage them for actionable insights.
• Perform in-depth data analysis using Python or SQL on the Databricks platform.
• Identify pain points and inefficiencies in current processes and suggest opportunities for improvement.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Computer Science or equivalent degree program.
• Previous IT internship experience preferred.
• Basic SQL programming skills.
• Have a high level of professionalism and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Demonstrate good communication, organization, inter-personal, analytic, and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit the ability to quickly learn new technologies.

Benefits

• The expected hourly range for this position is $22 per hour.
