This part-time Intern role at Comcast is designed for individuals looking to contribute to Android development projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities

• Use Android engineering skills to solve complex development problems and achieve engineering goals.
• Interact with multiple cross-functional teams (UX, Backend, DevOps, QA) to achieve project goals.
• Work with a Scrum and Agile oriented team.
• Collaborate in developing and polishing security-related Android frameworks and applications.
• Analyze code bases from other teams and integrate new code following existing principles.
• Learn team practices and participate in mentoring sessions to improve engineering skills.

Requirements

• Prior Comcast experience required.
• At least three months of hands-on experience with Android development in a corporate setting required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to grasp new technologies and apply them meaningfully.
• Basic experience in Kotlin for Android development.
• Basic understanding of Android push notifications and FCM/SNS.
• Basic experience with Git.
• Basic understanding of API functionality and testing.
• Basic experience in identifying and troubleshooting Android bugs and crashes.
• Basic design and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to explain problems and provide potential solutions.
• Adaptable, proactive, and driven to take ownership.
• Keen attention to detail and high level of commitment.
