About The Position

The Epileptologist / Epilepsy Section Head at Endeavor Health is a leadership role within the Department of Neurology, responsible for overseeing the Epilepsy Program. This position involves leading a dedicated team in providing advanced evaluation and treatment for patients with seizure disorders, contributing to the advancement of epilepsy care, and participating in clinical research. The role emphasizes comprehensive care, innovative treatments, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Medical license or license eligible in the state of Illinois.
• Completion of a one or two-year Epilepsy Fellowship (two-year preferred).
• Board certified or Board eligible in Neurology.
• 5 or more years of work experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the strategy, care goals, and development of the Epilepsy/EEG Section.
• Utilize advanced neurophysiology labs for comprehensive individualized monitoring.
• Offer intra-operative monitoring services during epilepsy surgeries.
• Join a multidisciplinary team and robust referral base of medical professionals.
• Participate in clinical research as desired.
• Train future neurologists with an academic appointment from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
