About the position

HCLTech is seeking a Java Developer with extensive experience in Core Java and modern web technologies. The role requires a strong understanding of software development principles and practices, particularly in Angular and cloud technologies. This position is based in Somerset, NJ, and is strictly onsite, requiring candidates to be local and available for a physical interview.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Core Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement user interfaces using Angular, HTML, SCSS, and TypeScript.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Utilize cloud technologies, particularly AWS, in application development.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) using Agile methodologies.
• Manage source code using GIT and Bitbucket.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Math, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in software development, particularly with Java and web technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, HTML, SCSS, and TypeScript.
• Experience with libraries such as NgRx, RxJs, and Angular Material.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, especially AWS.
• Proficient in using Agile tools like Jira.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with RESTful services and APIs.
• Knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
