About the position

As an AOG Technician at Flexjet, you will play a crucial role in our AOG (Aircraft on Ground) program, which is designed to provide immediate support for aircraft maintenance needs. This position offers a competitive salary and industry-leading benefits, along with a unique one week on/one week off schedule, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic. You will be compensated for a minimum of 40 hours every week, providing financial stability while you focus on delivering exceptional service to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for providing 24/7 mobile team support during your assigned shifts. You will act as the central point of contact for customers during AOG maintenance events, ensuring that all necessary tooling and resources are organized and available. Coordination with the support center will be essential, as you will need to keep them updated on project statuses and any travel arrangements that may be required. Maintaining the mobile vehicle's appearance, both interior and exterior, is also part of your responsibilities, as is ensuring that your team adheres to all company policies regarding professionalism and attire. You will be tasked with maintaining accurate records of work performed to facilitate quick and accurate processing of work orders. Compliance with the Repair Station Manual and coordination with the Quality Department to ensure regulatory adherence is critical. Your role will also involve managing expenses and expense reports, collaborating with the local Business Administrator for reporting and billing purposes. Building and maintaining customer relationships is key, and you will have opportunities to reach out to clients even while offsite at other locations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 24/7 Mobile Team/AOG support during assigned scheduled shift.
  • Act as the central point of contact for customers during AOG maintenance events.
  • Coordinate and organize the necessary tooling for maintenance events.
  • Coordinate with the support center on project status.
  • Coordinate with the support center for any travel arrangements that are required.
  • Maintain mobile vehicle, ensuring both interior and exterior appearance are up to standards.
  • Ensure the team follows all company policies, including professionalism and proper attire.
  • Maintain an accurate account of the work to facilitate quick and accurate processing of work orders.
  • Ensure all work is accomplished within the requirements of the Repair Station Manual.
  • Coordinate with the Quality Department to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide immediate response to any AOG call at all times while on shift.
  • Manage all expenses and expense reports, working with the local Business Administrator on reporting and billing to work orders.
  • Provide accounting with monthly reports as required.
  • Maintain and grow customer relationships, reaching out to customers while offsite at another location.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Previous corporate AOG experience (3-plus years) required.
  • FAA Airframe and Powerplant certificate required.
  • Airframe structural/composite repair experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment and effectively coordinate with multiple departments.
  • Planning and organizational skills necessary.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer/technology skills.
