About The Position

The Apple Support College Advisor role is designed for university students who are passionate about customer service and technology. This position involves providing world-class customer support for various Apple products, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. Advisors will engage with customers, utilizing their technical expertise and creativity to deliver tailored solutions while fostering a culture of inclusion and accountability.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a university in the U.S. pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher, with an expected graduation date of May 2027 or later.
  • A quiet home workspace with ergonomic furniture and a hard-wired internet connection meeting specified speed requirements.
  • Availability for full-time training and flexible working hours post-training.
  • Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM while conversing with customers.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment assessment and background check.

  • Pursuing a major in Business, Communications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related tech field.
  • Demonstrated passion for customer service and ownership of the customer experience.
  • Ability to navigate difficult conversations and display resilience.
  • Effective time management and multitasking skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges in technical troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to provide technical support and troubleshooting for Apple products.
  • Utilize documented troubleshooting flows to resolve customer issues effectively.
  • Listen to customer needs and tailor solutions to enhance their experience with Apple products.
  • Participate in five weeks of full-time paid training to develop necessary skills and knowledge.
  • Work 20 hours per week post-training, with flexibility based on business needs.
