About the position

The Appliance Repair Technician at Vision Appliance Professionals is responsible for providing high-quality repair services for a variety of residential and commercial appliances. This role requires a skilled technician with extensive experience in appliance repair, including troubleshooting and repairing various brands and types of appliances. The technician will work independently, ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on residential and commercial appliances including refrigerators, dryers, washers, dishwashers, and more.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose appliance issues, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Complete job assessments and ride-alongs with the owner to ensure quality service.
• Maintain accurate invoices and part orders before leaving customer residences or by the end of the workday.
• Deliver excellent customer service and maintain a professional appearance.
• Drive to customer locations using a company vehicle or personal work van.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC/R systems as needed.

Requirements

• Universal EPA certification is required.
• Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in appliance repair.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and technical skills.
• Ability to operate a multimeter and troubleshoot electrical issues.
• Customer service skills and a professional demeanor.
• Must have own work tools and preferably a work van.

• Experience with a wide range of appliance brands including Samsung, Maytag, and LG.
