About The Position

The Application Architect/Developer (.NET) position at Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) involves designing, building, and supporting enterprise applications within the Agile Business Development Group (ABD). This role focuses on enhancing the Customer Hub (C-Hub) application and other ABD applications, utilizing a Rapid Application Development (RAD) methodology to deliver quality products efficiently. The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure effective monitoring and reporting of client profitability and risk.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years of related work experience.
  • 4+ years of experience with ASP.NET, .NET Core, Angular 2+, jQuery, JavaScript, and related technologies.
  • Preferred experience in the Corporate & Investment Banking industry.
  • Background in Microsoft Technologies, Project Management, QA, and SDLC.
  • Experience in designing and developing complex, large-scale business applications.
  • Deep understanding of OOP and Design Patterns.
  • Ability to understand and document business requirements and system designs.
  • Strong communication skills to mediate between IT and non-IT users.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities, especially for complex problems.
  • Ability to work under strict timelines and possess a growth mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
  • Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
  • Knowledge of financial services applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a .Net Developer in the Full Stack Development Team on C-Hub and other ABD applications.
  • Design, develop, and test web applications.
  • Design and develop services, contracts, and data models.
  • Develop database objects such as stored procedures, functions, views, and constraints.
  • Collaborate with ABD India Application Support and Business Support teams to address production issues and development work.
  • Coordinate with the US ABD team for ongoing support and monthly releases of C-Hub and other applications.
  • Report project progress status to management.
  • Identify and escalate related issues and risks.
  • Coordinate with Development and Business Support teams to implement, enhance, or modify application features.
  • Assess current modules and propose performance improvement techniques.
  • Ensure adherence to standards established by ABD.
