In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a client-facing practitioner working collaboratively with clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Act as a trusted business advisor with deep understanding of SAP Accelerate delivery methodology or equivalent.
• Work on projects that assist clients in integrating strategy, process, technology, and information to enhance effectiveness, reduce costs, and improve profit and shareholder value.
• Involvement in strategy development and solution implementation, leveraging knowledge of SAP and working with the latest technologies.

Requirements

• Overall industry experience of 3-5 years.
• Experience in Oracle Apps DBA (EBS), Unix/Linux/AIX, General Cloning, Patching, Backup Skills & Performance Tuning Knowledge.
• Experience in Oracle Apps DBA (EBusiness Suite versions like R12.1 and R12.2) as a primary skill.
• Knowledge of configuration, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching in Oracle Apps 12.2.

Nice-to-haves

• Basic WebLogic server administration needed.
• Expertise in AD utilities, EBS Maintenance activities.
• Responsible for reviewing application/databases, health checks and identify performance bottlenecks and fixing those.
• Knowledge of hot and cold backups and recovery for Oracle EBusiness suite database and application of PLSQL, and SQL.
• Ability to tune poorly performing SQL/PLSQL using explain plan or using statistics method.
