About the position

Application Development Engineers are core to KLA's technology, while we do not currently have an opening, we are always building our Application Engineers talent community, we are interested in learning about your background. In this role, you will be responsible for product development, customer support, and conducting use-case demos. This includes characterizing next generation state-of-the-art semiconductor reticle inspection products, designing test plans, collecting data, performing analysis, and publishing results and recommendations. You will also demonstrate product value during beta testing and provide inspection solutions to semiconductor manufacturing yield issues.

Responsibilities

• Characterization of next generation state-of-the-art semiconductor reticle inspection products.
• Designing test plans, collecting data, performing analysis, and publishing results and recommendations.
• Product value demonstration during beta testing and tools in the ramp phase.
• Investigating semiconductor manufacturing yield issues and providing inspection solutions.
• Creating and sharing product value statements and use-cases with engineering, marketing, and sales groups.
• Training customers and other applications engineers.
• Conducting new tool demonstrations to showcase tool performance and develop use cases.

Requirements

• Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience.
• Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years.
• BS, MS in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Optical Science/Engineering, and Physics or related studies.
