Application Engineer (multiple locations)

About the position

Flowserve is looking for technically and commercially experienced Application Engineers as well as On-Site Application Engineers. In this function you will develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications. You will act as a product specialist in a team and work closely with the sales, development, and other specialist departments. This is a general requisition for our Aftermarket and Commercial Operations groups.

Responsibilities

• Develop solutions for customers and partners for industrial and special applications.
• Act as a product specialist in a team.
• Work closely with sales, development, and other specialist departments.
• Handle order acquisition processes for pump and seal applications.
• Conduct seal failure analysis to determine reasons for mechanical seal failures.
• Work with customers to specify appropriate equipment for service and prepare commercially viable solutions.
• Troubleshoot problems with equipment in the field.

Requirements

• Technical and commercial experience in application engineering.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Experience in handling order acquisition processes.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, mechanical, and materials upgrades.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with pumps, valves, and mechanical seals.
• Familiarity with engineering procurement contractors (EPCs).
• Hands-on experience in troubleshooting equipment issues.
