Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, code, test, and deploy new user stories and product features with high quality (security, reliability, operations) to production.
• Understand the software development lifecycle and leverage critical thinking skills to properly evaluate features and functionality.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 3 years of experience in the job offered or in an Application Engineer-related occupation.
• Experience in creating APIs and applications using Spring boot, Kafka, Git, and Jenkins.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and technologies including Pivotal Cloud Foundry.
• Experience with Agile methodologies including Scrum, JIRA, and Rally.
• Knowledge of microservices design and implementation.
• Proficiency in operating systems including Linux and Windows.
• Experience with databases including MariaDB and Oracle.
• Familiarity with tech stack technologies including Java, Spring, Kafka, OpenShift, and Jenkins.
