About the position

The position involves providing technical leadership and support in the sales and support of V93000 Semiconductor Test Systems and Applications for Advantest customers and their partners. The role focuses on various aspects of the sales process, including requirements analysis, feature demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation. The candidate will ensure that Advantest products function according to specifications and will integrate these products into customer environments, while also performing complex analyses of customer requirements and creating project plans for successful execution.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and support in the sales and support of V93000 Semiconductor Test Systems and Applications for Advantest customers and their partners.
  • Focus on various aspects of the sales process including requirements analysis, feature demonstrations, benchmarks, competitive positioning, and implementation.
  • Ensure Advantest products function per specifications.
  • Integrate Advantest products and services into customer environments.
  • Perform analysis of complex IC manufacturer customer requirements, providing expertise on performance, design, utilization, optimization, test program development/conversions, and implementation strategies.
  • Accountable for the design, scoping, and technical validity of solutions to achieve customer business objectives.
  • Identify Advantest and Non-Advantest resources required to deliver customer solutions and track/manage committed deliverables.
  • Keep global technical peers informed of new and emerging technologies and information in their business segment.
  • Create project plans for complex projects and track project completion.
  • Represent customer needs of their assigned business segment to field and factory.
  • Create and deliver customer training classes and consultation materials.

Requirements

  • BS in Electrical Engineering/Physics/Computer Science or equivalent with over 5 years semiconductor test experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with LINUX, C, C++, and Java.
  • Perl and Python scripting is a plus and highly valued for this position.
  • Strong knowledge of test methodologies is a must.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, project-oriented, team environment.
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills are a must.
  • Self-starter, self-motivating, independent nature is needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional programming languages or tools related to semiconductor testing.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
