About The Position

The Applications Developer will be a key member of the Data Science Team at Nightwing, focusing on analyzing large datasets and developing machine learning tools to enhance data processing capabilities. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills to create reliable data products that identify duplicates and improve data integrity. The position emphasizes collaboration with business and IT teams to propose effective solutions and strategies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Data Scientist or Data Analyst.
• Experience in Data Mining.
• Understanding of machine learning and operations research.
• Knowledge of statistical programming languages like Python and database query languages like SQL.
• Experience with data frameworks (e.g., gensim).

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of R, SQL, Scala, Python, or Java is highly recommended.

Responsibilities

• Extract usable data from valuable data sources in a clear and readable manner, including automation.
• Use machine learning tools to create and optimize classifiers.
• Process structured and unstructured data while handling imperfections in the data.
• Validate the integrity of data for analysis purposes.
• Propose solutions and strategies to customers, collaborating with Business and IT Teams.
• Analyze large datasets through the development of predictive models and machine learning algorithms.
