The position is responsible for software applications support at the Application & Support Team, focusing on Verilog HDL and VHDL test cases for QA for Blue Tool software tools used in full-chip ASIC and FPGA applications. The role involves analyzing design rules violations and false and multicycle paths in Verilog RTL and VHDL designs, resolving these issues, and demonstrating software tools to customers. Additionally, the position entails resolving technical issues for customers and engaging in pre and post-sales technical support. This includes assisting in closing business by providing software technical aid during various stages of the sales cycle, delivering product demonstrations, answering inquiries, and ensuring prospective customers are aware of the full capabilities and benefits of the products specific to their applications. The role requires working with customers both on-site and off-site to ensure a positive experience with the products, communicating on issue workarounds and new tool fixes, and creating test cases, reporting, tracking, and driving bug fixes and enhancements with R&D for customer-related issues.
