Affinity FCU is seeking an experienced, innovative Applications Solutions Architect to join our team! The solutions architect will be responsible for designing and implementing technological solutions to address complex business needs. The selected candidate will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, assess technical challenges, and craft tailored solutions that align with the company's strategic goals. They will play a pivotal role in translating business objectives into technical architectures, ensuring scalability, security, and integration across platforms and systems. The solutions architect will create the overall technical and strategic vision, and be responsible for cataloging, developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing overall architecture models, representations, initiatives, capabilities, and components to adequately perform the day-to-day Affinity Federal Credit Union's business and technology activities. The architect will find ways to solve business problems and will connect these solutions with the overall technical and strategic vision. The architect should be able to bridge communication between business and IT and ensure everyone is aligned in developing and implementing approved technical solutions. This role will be part of the systems development and architecture team and will provide solutions and strategies for solving problems, while working with the development or configuration team overseeing the implementation of the solution designed. The architect should be detail-oriented and whose responsibilities will include improving the current IT infrastructure, optimizing business operations, and setting the direction and approach for integrating information across applications. The architect will provide technical leadership, analytical experience, and consultation. Must possess strong communication skills, help Affinity better understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and provide advice on strategies for migrating existing implemented workflows toward more modern approaches. The architect will have to obtain in-depth knowledge of AFCU's systems within and outside their domain so they can "connect the dots" and provide the most efficient and effective solution for the company.
