Responsibilities

• Manage the accounts receivable process, including invoicing and payment collection.
• Perform revenue cycle management tasks to ensure efficient processing of accounts.
• Conduct telemarketing efforts to follow up on outstanding invoices and collections.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving payment issues.
• Maintain accurate account records and documentation in compliance with GAAP standards.
• Process medical collections while adhering to relevant regulations, including ICD-10 coding when necessary.
• Perform data entry tasks to update financial records accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication regarding accounts receivable issues.

Requirements

• + years of AR experience
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and Pivot Tables)
• Experience with Prolaw or a similar ERP system (highly preferred)
• Proficiency in revenue cycle management and understanding of medical collection processes
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent math skills for accurate financial calculations and reporting
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Quicken or similar applications
• Knowledge of GAAP principles and ICD-10 coding
• Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
